Student Tech Crew & Parent Meeting Held Jan. 21
More than 45
students and their parents attended the first meeting of the Annie
Student Tech Crew on January 21 in the Forum Room. Thank you to
the Tech Crew chair people, directors, students and parents who attended.
Please read
through the packet that you received at the meeting. If you did not
attend the meeting, you can download the packet (see link below) or pick a
copy up in Mrs. Bechtold's room (521).
A
few important things to note:

All forms and
contracts are due Saturday, February 4.
-
ALL Middle
and High School students & parents must complete, sign and
return the Student Tech Crew Contract.
-
ALL Middle
and High School parents should complete the Annie 2012 Parent
Contact Information Form. (This will be given to the assistant
director and used in case of an emergency.)

Students who want
to work on Stage Crew, Props, or Lighting must also
complete, sign and return the Backstage Commitment Contract.
-
Students who want
to work on a backstage crew and have never worked on the Tech Crew for a
Greece Athena Middle School production must also submit two
(2) Reference Information Forms.

Students who plan
to work on Stage Crew, Props or Lighting must put
in eight (8) hours of pre-production work by Saturday, February 25.
A tentative work schedule is in the packet and will be updated online.
Set Construction/Painting will begin for students on Feb. 1 in the APAC.

ALL Middle
School students who come to work on Set Construction, Lighting
Load-In, Props or Costumes must be accompanied by an adult.

If you have
questions about a particular tech area, please contact the
chairperson of that area. (A list of contacts is in the packet.)

If you would like
to purchase Tech Crew apparel (order form in packet and below),
all order forms and payments are due Saturday, February 4
and should be MAILED to the address on the form.
Please do not miss
the contract deadlines. If we don't receive your contract(s) you
cannot work on the crew.

This is the complete packet that was handed
out at the Mandatory Meeting on Jan. 21.
Students and Parents should read through it carefully
and return the appropriate contracts and forms by Feb. 4.

Annie Student Tech Crew Contract
ALL middle and high
school students and parents
must complete and return this form by Feb. 4
Annie Backstage Commitment Contract
ALL middle and high
school students who want to work on a backstage crew
(Stage Crew, Lighting Crew, or Props Crew) must complete and return this
form by Feb. 4.
Annie Backstage Crew Reference Request/Information Form
ANY student who has NEVER
worked on the Tech Crew for a GAMS Theatre production must complete TWO
of these forms. One reference must be an Athena teacher. The other
can be an Athena teacher or staff member or an adult the student has
worked with in another organization (e.g. scouts, dance, sports, church
youth group).
Annie 2012 Parent Contact Form
This form will be given to the assistant
director and used in case of an emergency.
APAC Tech Crew Clothing Order Form
The APAC Tech Crew logo will appear on
these items.
These are NOT Annie clothing items.
Orders are due Feb. 4 and should be mailed to the
address on the bottom of the form.
Tech Crew Student/Parent Info Form
ALL students who want to work on the
Annie Tech Crew
should have returned this form by Jan. 6.
